Meatloaf the Dog needs a home
You know those commercials where you see the stereotypical rugged tough guy that turns out to be a major softy? Well those commercials depict Meatloaf to a T. Once you get past his tough exterior you get a stocky boy with a huge heart.
Meatloaf is a 3 year old American Bulldog whose main mission is to please people. He's a solid 95ish pounds of pure white and tan muscle. If we had to describe him in two words we would describe him as a couch potato. His face lights up with excitement when you mention his favorite people and places or take out a leash. He loves bones, having his belly rubbed, and we’ve yet to find a food he doesn’t want to eat (well, he’s not a huge fan of mini wheat cereal, but he will still eat them!). He is a vivid dreamer, a drooler, and a cookie connoisseur. He loves car rides but isn’t a fan of the rain.
Meatloaf is a clown and he’s looking for his forever home. He would do best in a home with structure - one where there are clear rules and boundaries. He can be a bit reserved at first but once he feels safe and comfortable, his true personality will shine. He needs time to warm up to someone but once he does he will be your best friend. While he likes other dogs, he would do best with those exhibiting a calm energy. Meatloaf doesn’t know his own size or strength so a home with no children or older children would be ideal. Get ready to adopt this hunka-hunka burnin' love, because he's ready for you!
